Size: 4ft 11in x 3ft 0in (150 x 92cm).Antique Tekke Turkmen chuval face of scarce format with 'aina chuval' guls to the face and small flowers to the elem panel.
Late 19th century.
A good Tekke Turkmen chuval face of scarce design. The main field is filled with 30 aina guls of the chuval gul format; the elem has diagonal rows of small flowers which are found in both Tekke and Saryk chuval. Cochineal dye is used throughout.
Good condition with even wear and medium pile, the top corners have very small old repairs.
