Description
Size: 11ft 2in x 8ft 2in (340 x 250cm).Antique Afghan village carpet with Ersari Beshir Turkmen 'mina khani' design.
Circa 1900/20.
The carpet has the well known 'mina khani' (many flowers) design on a soft copper brown ground. Overall the carpet has warm colour tones.
The carpet is in fair condition with wear and low pile, there are a few scattered old repairs, (the condition is reflected in the price). The carpet would be ideal for 'the country house lived with look'.
The carpet is suitable for normal domestic use.
