Description
Size: 5ft 0in x 3ft 6in (153 x 107cm).Antique Timuri Baluch prayer rug with 'Dokhtar-e-Qazi' design.
Circa 1900/20.
The rug originates from the border region of Western Afghanistan and Eastern Persia.
Superb colour through out with indigo blues and soft madder reds tones. Note the chevron kilims at both ends.
Slight even wear with good pile, some corrosion to the browns.
Hand washed and ready for use or display.
