Description
Size: 14ft 9in x 10ft 4in (450 x 315cm).Old Turkish Hereke carpet, wool pile on a wool foundation.
About 50 years old.
The carpet is beautifully drawn with a all over 'mille fleur' design on a indigo blue background. The flowers are in a range of soft pastel colours giving the carpet a lighter feel.
The detailed border on a red ground complements the carpet very well.
The carpet is in excellent condition with very slight wear and good pile.
The carpet has been hand washed and is ready for use or display. This is a good furnishing quality large room size carpet, suitable for heavy use.
