Description
Size: 8ft 5in x 5ft 1in (256x 155cm).Old Persian Nain carpet, lambs wool and silk on a fine cotton foundation.
Circa 1960.
The carpet is of fine weave with tight fine pile of lambs wool, the carpet has a velvet like feel with highlights in silk. The carpet has a small medallion design with fine detail in soft pastel colours, the field is filled with small flowers. A small room size carpet of the highest quality.
The carpet is in excellent condition with very slight even wear and full pile, and has recently been hand washed.
The rug is suitable for normal domestic use.
